Holiday Reminders 2022

On behalf of the team here at Rent Choice, we would like to thank you for your continuing support over the past year. With the festive season nearing, here are important things and guides you should know before we head off for the holidays.

We are closed from 4:00 pm Wednesday, 21st December 2022 and will reopen at 10:00 am Tuesday, 3rd January 2023.

Direct Debit Rental Payments

We will process your rental payments daily during this period on business days. If rent is paid by direct debit and is due over Christmas, it will be deducted on Wednesday, 28th December 2022.

Our accounts team will log in on business days to ensure that your rent is received and debited from your account (if on direct debit). If, for some reason, your rent doesn't go through, our team will still reach out to you (via SMS or email). If you realise your rent is going to be late, send an email to your property manager, so we're aware of what date we should expect your rent instead and can let your owner plan ahead.

Payments to Creditors and Owners

Our payment dates over the festive period will be:

Friday 30th December 2022  End of-month payment run

Friday 13th January 2023  Mid-month payment run 

Tuesday 31st January 2023  End of-month payment run

We use an online application system—accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can still apply through this link, and we will process your applications as soon as we can; however, please note that if your references are currently on leave or unavailable over the festive period, they may only respond upon their return or upon their office re-opening.
